It's recommended when recent infection is very likely, for example, immediately after a person has unprotected sex with a partner infected with HIV.To be diagnosed with HIV, a person must have positive results from two HIV tests. First test can be a plasma HIV RNA test, the second test must be a Western blot test. 病毒载量测试可以在感染9天内测试HIV病毒，这个测试你血样的HIV病毒数量，如果你与病毒HIV感染者有过没有预防措施的性jiao经验，这个测试是推荐的。你必须要通过两个测试才能确定阳性，一个是病毒载量测试或者HIV抗体测试，第二个测试必须是Wester blot （蛋白质印迹），这个测试确定你是否有HIV。
